Located in the area known as Vistalba with the Andes dramatically rising in the distance, Entre Cielos is a working vineyard, producing Malbec from some of the best terroir in Mendoza. Low-slung modernist structure in raw concrete is surrounded by lovely grounds and vines.
With only 15 rooms, the categories are named after the evolution of wine, from Young up to Grand Cru, which accordingly go up in space and amenities. All suites are on two levels with tasteful décor and a contrast of concrete and hardwood, patterned textiles and art. Each room has its own Nespresso machine, complimentary house wine and patio area to soak up the glorious Mendoza sunshine.
After a hard day of tasting wines, detox in the hammam and spa where the masseuses nimble fingers will knead away any stress. Dine in their restaurant, Beef Club, where the focus is on barbequed meats served with regional dishes. The expansive wine cellar carries many of the best wine labels in the region. Salud.
