Across the immense Río de Plata from Buenos Aires is South America’s second-smallest country, Uruguay. Although it may be small, don’t overlook this powerhouse. In Uruguay, they will welcome you with open arms and make you feel like family even if you’ve never met before. That’s their vibe. So although we think Punta del Este and José Ignacio are divine, dive into the rest of Uruguay. It will surprise you.
