TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The following conditions apply for all our tours: standardized and custom made trips.


Reservations
To confirm a reservation, each passenger must complete the following:

-Complete contact information sheet
-Deposit of 50% of total trip cost

The balance of total trip cost due 60 days before departure. If the balance is not paid when due, unless previously advised in writing or email, Liz Caskey Wine & Culinary Experiences, reserves the right to regard the reservation as cancelled.


Payment
We accept the following forms of payment:
-Major credit cards
-Check
-Bank transfer
-Money order


Cancellation Policies and Penalties
If you for any reason, you must cancel your reservation, we will refund your deposit minus the following trip cancellation fees.


Non-refundable registration fee (minimum fee applicable)
Day tours $100
Overnight tours $250
Custom Made itineraries (more than 4 days) $400

Days before departure
46-60 days 50% of the trip price
31-45 days 75% of the trip price
0-30 days 100% of the trip price

We strongly encourage trip cancellation insurance that can be purchased from select insurance providers for a nominal fee. We are happy to recommend some providers.

All cancellations must be made in writing. If unforeseen circumstances require us to change the trip itinerary, Liz Caskey Culinary & Wine Experiences, will make every effort to select alternates (hotels, wineries, restaurants, activities) of the same quality. Liz Caskey Culinary & Wine Experiences reserves the right to cancel a tour for any reason, and in such an instance, will refund all payments received, constituting full settlement.


Specifics
All tours are priced with a minimum of 2 people and double occupancy for multi-day programs. For most standardized tours, it is advisable to arrive the day prior to your trip departure date. As part of our seamless service, we are happy to help book hotel reservations and trip extensions for you with our partner hotels and programs in Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay.


Changes
Although we do our best to adhere to the proposed itinerary, in some instances, itineraries are subject to change for reasons beyond our control, including: weather, third-party vendor cancellations, flight delays, etc. In addition, should international or domestic flights cause you to be unable to stay in a booked hotel, we will not be able to refund the value of that night’s stay.


Pricing
Our standardized and custom made itineraries are priced as complete packages including: first class transportation, deluxe accommodations, professional guides, winery tours/tastings, and activities as noted in the itinerary. As these are packages, Liz Caskey Culinary & Wine Experiences is not able to itemize the costs.


Validity
In the case of day and overnight tours, our rates are published annually in June according to the average exchange rate and inflation. However, Liz Caskey Culinary & Wine Experiences reserves the right to adjust tour prices in the event the local currency suffers depreciation greater than 5%.

For custom made tours, all proposals are valid for 60 days. After 60 days, we reserve the right to adjust prices due to inflation and/or price changes by suppliers, hotels or other non-Liz Caskey Culinary & Wine Experiences related entities.


Responsibility & Release
You are responsible for reading the tour information and company policies, bringing appropriate outfitting and/or equipment, in addition to obeying the local laws. Liz Caskey Culinary & Wine Experiences reserves the right to accept, remove, or decline any trip member at any time for any reason. In such case, a refund equal to the cost of the unused services is the limit of Liz Caskey Culinary & Wine Experiences responsibility.

Payment of the trip balance acknowledges your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Liz Caskey Culinary & Wine Experiences is not liable and does not assume responsibility for any claims, damages, expenses or other financial loss to person or property arising out of any injury, accident, death, cancellation, delay, adjustment, or inconvenience as a result of inadvertence of any hotel, transportation carrier, restaurant, or other company or person rendering the services included in the tour or caused by weather, sickness, political situation, or negligent acts of any other tour participants or any other cause beyond the control of Liz Caskey Culinary & Wine Experiences. Liz Caskey Culinary & Wine Experiences reserves the right and trip participants agree to allow Liz Caskey Culinary & Wine Experiences to take photographic or film recordings of our tours and trip participants, and may use such records for promotional and/or business purposes.
